With only one real feature, this freeware shutdown tool leaves a lot to be desired. Shutdown After's tiny, rudimentary interface lets you set a countdown timer to turn off your PC after a specified number of hours and minutes--but not at a specific time. You can quickly start and stop the countdown with the click of a button and send the program to the system tray. Even by freeware standards, Shutdown After is not so much simple as unsophisticated. Shop around and you'll quickly find better options

It did not work... Infact it did not Shutdown my Computer... I was gone for 2 days and I trusted this software completly... but my pc was still on. PS: I got winXP

ShutDown After does what it says. Hotkeys option is a nice touch.
Cons
Starts Minimized to the system tray. Hides the uninstall in the Program Files folder. Bundles the Dealio toolbar (optional install).

The hotkeys are what I love about this download. Being able to set and execute a restart or shut down is cool and it feels like something out of a spy movie, hsving a key combo to shut down your computer
Cons
Overly simplistic interface and the main function is basically pointless but the hotkeys are what I'm focusing on.

Easy program to use for novice users who either dont know how to get windows to shut down after a certain time, or are too lazy to type in the command prompts.
Cons
Even in version two, there simply isn't enough features to take it seriously. If this product is going to be getting better reviews, it needs to do more.

This is awesome. If you're the only one at work and the only way people can verify you are there is by checking your online status, just set this for the remaning time you're supposed to be there and leave.

In Windows XP you can use command line: <p>shutdown -s -t 60 (to shutdown in a minute); <p>shutdown -r -t 5 (to reboot in 5 sec); <p>shutdown -a (to abort shotdown); <p>etc.

Provides absolutley no functionality that is not natively provided by any operating system it would install on. This is as useful as a program that opens a folder for you. From "Vicky's Cool Softwares". Apparently vicky should avoid software development and grammar and turn her talents to somethings else.
