  I couldn't tell how effective it was because this program is out of date, therefor, it didn't keep up with the anti-virus programs it was meant to integrate with... It may work with your AV it might not. I'd suggest you pay a visit to the runtimeware website to check if your program is listed. If you're running Avira, you'll probably have to look elsewhere as the executable and arguments it suggests don't work with the current AV... (unless there is another sub-folder I'm missing for some reason...)

  Pros

  This reminds me of Prevex or an add-on monitoring app. Please read all directions and help files before judging this program, Easy install and run, Somewhat confusing GUI <p>Not for the novice.

  If you run a really good Anti-Virus program this app is not really needed except for those of you out there really,really paranoid about viruses or have had a real problem with nasties infiltrating your PC before.

  Pros

  this program works well..it is not exactly an antivirus program..it is more like winpatrol or processguard....the plus is you can intergrate it into your current antivirus program and my two favorites right now are avira antivir and etrust cause they beat avast and avg..even though i still like avast.
