• My top fail-safe software

  Pros

  #1 reason: works outside Windows. Restore on reboot is never a problem. Doesnt take up too much space Snapshots and restoration is quite fast Protects all my computer in its entirety

  Summary

  I've used a lot of instant recovery softwares & snapshot programs in the past ( I am a former Goback user and am quite familiarize with Comodo time machine) but I must say this one is pretty good. I've been a Rollback user for a while now, and have not had any major problems with it. In fact, it has saved me from many, many mishaps.

  Pros

  Installation is a breeze! It does not work with LINUX; however you can create a virtual disk and install LINUX to it, then use Rollback to create a system image of everything on your drive. This is highly useful if you find that you need to use a LINUX and Microsoft Operating systems. Should your LINUX operating system fail or you don't need it anymore you can just delete the system image without ever having to touch your computers partitions; then just create a new system image without it. (This is what I have done.) Rollback allows you to recover files from images you make with it. This has proven useful to me so many times that the program has paid for itself many times over. It saves you a headache of bad installations and virus's. It's also helpful if you have little ones who wreck your PC by downloading that "game" which crashes your PC.

  Cons

  I have nothing to say here; only that if you don't get it and your system crashes; you'll wish you had spent the money to get it.

  Pros

  this program (rollback Rx) my long, v.7.1-v8.1 - v9.1 is an excellent program that I use. and even more perfect, as well. super program. me too many times, saved the biggest problems. Back to the pristine few seconds. viruses, no problems with the operating system does not collapse. Enjoy you I have all my friends all the time, I would recommend it to anyone.

  Although defrag program its own program, v.7.1-v8.1 - v9.1 for Windows or other disk combiners, copies of software it (take snapshots) to be merged only minus side. important changes in his work. but, though this feature will be very good. v10 Rollback maybe this has been fixed. v10 and see will buy.

  This program compliments - deserves a lot of advice.

  Pros

  rollback is a terrific tool. if you need or want to revert the pc to its state before you "tried something", just take a snapshot before (it takes less than 10 seconds). later, if unhappy with what's happened, just "rollback" your pc to the condition it was in when you took the snapshot before things went south.

  Cons

  i bought rollback in 2009. it has stopped working twice, for reasons unknown, and each time i was helped through the "uninstall / reinstall" fix in a phone call with a rollback tech. the process is far from intuitive, but with their help it was done in an hour or so. imho their help is far above average; they have even called me back to see how the process was going.

  Summary

  i was satisfied using goback on my old win98 pc. goback was not compatible with winxp, so i opted for rollback. it is much faster than goback was, and uses fewer resources. i would not hesitate to recommend rollback to anyone who is interested in an easy way to recover from a bad situation.

  Quickly fixes "oops" mistakes.

  Cons

  Slows down bootup (but computer is fine after). Too pricey. Activation is a pain.

  Summary

  This does not replace a good backup/imaging software, but it is good at going back in time when something does wrong (virus infection, bad software install, etc). If you're going to install or uninstall RollbackRX, make sure the power will not go out in the process or that your machine is stable. Any interruption of this process can be devastating. Outside of that the software works just fine for me. The bootup process on my computer is slowed down quite a bit, but only for bootup. Normal day-to-day operation is unaffected. I got the software on sale, but I'd never buy it at full price. They're asking way too much for it.

  I used Trial Rollback Rx. System was like good at the beginning but nighmare started while uninstalling...

  Cons

  While uninstalling at the end of trial period, system crashed and couldn't be recovered my system back. Even i contacted to Rollback Support department by mails and phone calls, i got answer that they support only to customers who purchased.

  Summary

  if you still want to use Rollback RX you should think twice because support service is terrible. Even i talked about critical problem, support department ladies told that they couldn't help for people who used 14 days trial Rollback RX. I am not the one, if you will try to uninstall, your files would be lost. i wrote this message to alert people. I got a huge nightmare and after i couldn't get support, i lost my warranty and files.

  Pros

  There's nothing more aggravating or terrifying than when your PC won't load. This software rolls it back to when it did load. It does what it says it does. And it does it very well.

  Pros

  Replacement for Norton GoBack which gave me extremely bad and/or expensive tech support help and took FOREVER to Uninstall. Discussion in a Wilder Security forum when I did a search for Rollback RX convinced me that those "in the know" found this to be a very good product and that I should move ahead. Also appears to take much less space than GoBack which was my previous solution to this area.

  Cons

  I am new to this product, but so far it looks like a real winner. The only concern I may have is an uncertainty from what I have read if it will fully support all my drives or partitions. I understand this is being worked on at the company at this time. <p> <p>The company is also starting a new forum for discussion, answers and solutions.
