Used Remover for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Though this program displays some confusing instructions, it easily removes files stored by a handful of applications. The vast majority of users will take one look at Remover's interface and know how to operate it. It merely lists the seven file types it deletes: Internet Download Accelerator history, Firefox, Flock and Opera caches, Internet Explorer history and cache, temp files, and the Media Player Classic playlist.
Check what type files you want to remove and click Remove Now. The program takes off and displays each file path as it deletes. It isn't the fastest file-removal tool we're tested, though, and there were times when we wished for a stop function, especially during long runs through large Internet Explorer temp cache folders.
There does seem to be a bit of a glitch with Remover, which seems like it might have been part of a larger program. Remover's main screen displays a message asking you to choose which features you want to install, but there aren't other options to select. And during the uninstall process a message erroneously appears that asks you to wait while items are installed.
Remover isn't a memory hog, but it isn't stingy either. While deleting, it took about 20 percent of the CPU cycles of our test machines. This freeware program deletes files as promised and it's easy to use. Despite a few glitches, it deserves a test by any user looking to delete temp files and clear out browser cache folders.
