AlarmDisk 2 provides a much-needed layer of security for systems running PATA and SATA drives. This new, exciting release performs real-time monitoring of many system features and displays important system information in a clear and easy-to-use format. AlarmDisk 2's key features include: Power Cycle Count monitoring -Alerts the user to unauthorized access to their data by methods including: --Removal of the drive - attaching to another system for access --Booting to a LiveCD for access Real-Time SMART attribute monitoring -Saves time and money on expensive data recoveries by alerting users to drive problems before drive failure occurs Baseline process comparisons -Snapshots of baseline running processes alert users to new, unauthorized processes which are running on the system.
