  The most important thing is this works. (The demo only allow you to check if you file type will work with the software, only the paid version works when I tried) I had an Access 2013 .accdb file. It is a typical database with some typical user forms and embeded vba codes on the buttons. The password used to protect the codes were password protected and the developer who created the file originally forgotten what password was set. You can't open the vba module to edit/view it is impossible to check the buttons are doing the right thing. The software removed those passwords within a few seconds and now I can edit these code and see what this database is doing on these user-forms. I tried with embeded macro on a button, but it also works fine on standard password protected macro on .accdb file. I not tried an Excel file but I think it should be fine too. I tested it with a password that was 10+ characters with numbers and no issue as well (with the paid standard version)

  It works. so no cons. I paid for the standard version. The card payment did take about 5-10 min to process so be patient. you should get an email code to make your software work a few min after that. I found that I had to delete an ODBC connected table before I got one of my Access file to work, but maybe I got it to work in the end, I just re-connected my ODBC table after I fixed my problem.

  Summary

  it works. I suggest if anyone got a problem like mine, pay the $20 and stop stressing about it. It is not worth the time if $20 will solve these kind of issues. good luck!

  The PRO version of software removed VBA passwords from 34 files that a former co-worker protected in seconds. We used a script that their support guys provided for automation. Every single file was unprotected, no damages to the files where made. Excellent software!

  Summary

  I owned a previous version and now I upgraded to PRO. The tool got even faster. I used a custom script to remove the VBA password from 137 XLS/X files. Remove VBA Password PRO removed all passwords and didn't damage any of them. Excelent software! I even got a discount as a returning customer.

  The demo does not allow you to use the software at all. It does not recover any lost passwords, just advertises the full version of the product.
