Don't use: If you update, it'll destroy your RIP data!

Pros
nifty to hide parts of web pages you never want to see.
Cons
After you've spent hours over several months hiding the pieces of web pages you always visit, so they don't get in the way or annoy you, it will destroy all that data in an automatic update without warning!
Summary
After it has installed an update for RIP, it always destroys all user data for RIP. https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=15694 Bug has existed for multiple versions. Latest version 1.0.6.5 just did it AGAIN. Automatic addon updates by firefox are the only way I've ever udpated my addons, and I manually allow them when starting firefox 2.0.0.12. That means it has destroyed all my hard work that I spent many dozens of hours creating, without even warning me it's going to do this. NO program should EVER be released that destroys user data for any reason, unless it first warns the user this will happen, gives them a chance and a method to back it up right then, and a way to undo it. This is the last time I'm going to bother with this extension's stupidity of destroying all the user-created data for it during it's upgrades. So until it's confirmed to be PERMANENTLY fixed, RIP to RIP. :-( You need to add a section to the description of RIP at the addon page on Mozilla warning users that it's ok to use the program, but not to expect to keep their hard work after an update to RIP, because it will ERASE THEIR DATA WITHOUT WARNING! I'd rather never have ever installed this addon than have had to deal with this! It can't be called a useful addon if it DESTROYS the work the user did with it!
