Used ReminderFox for Windows?
Editors’ Review
There are quite a number of calendars and to-do tools readily available out there. These are normally large applications that are intended for a lot of heavy-duty stuff. We're talking campaigns, business plans, and other time-based activities where you need to see the big picture. However, if you are looking for something that will simply remind you of specific dates and tasks on a daily basis, try this new add-on for Mozilla Firefox. ReminderFox is a free, simple tool for setting reminders without leaving your browser.
Once installed, the add-on sits unobtrusively in the status bar until needed. Reminders that have been set up will appear as pop-ups in the lower corner of the screen. There are initially two tabs, Reminders and To-dos, but you can customize it by adding more if you like. To add reminders and tasks, you simply click on the date in the calendar provided. One obvious advantage of the tool is that since it is merely an add-on, there is no need to install or run a bulky application.
ReminderFox can be an excellent replacement for Outlook and other online reminder systems, and it is so lightweight you'll hardly notice it's there. And considering that this is just a browser add-on rather than a full-blown calendar application, there are a surprising number of options available.
