• good ,but demo version should be at least valid for 8 days with full utility

  shows the legends of your hrddisk and the the status of files for both fat and ntfs partitions

  Cons

  the only thing about this software i dont like is the demo version is not ful fledged , at least the demo version available should be fully loaded and should have a time bound validty. the software should be priced at resonable amount e.g., Rs. 2000/- ( Rs. two thousand only ) in indian currency.

  Pros

  Was using an external drive to maintain back ups and iTunes libraries and then whamo the drive crashed. Looked at over 10 programs to try to get the data and this was the only one that could actually detect the external drive. What I loved about this software was its simplicity and power to detect and restore my external volume. It does what it says and I would give it two thumbs up - five stars by any standard. A must have utility!

  I used this program to retrieve 1300 lost IPod songs for a client. The trial version let me verify that the files were still there, and I was able to activate the program while working by getting an activation code from their 24-hour purchase center (the web purchase didn't work this time). I WAS able to use it on this one computer temporarily while preserving my license for future installation. <p> <p>The simple interface and compact size let me get to business right away. There was no need to select every file for recovery: I simply recovered the entire tree to a host system.

  Cons

  A secondary scan starts immediately after completion of the primary discovery, which can slow down recovery of any initially discovered files. Yes, help files are a little thin on the web site and in the program as previously noted. The price is significantly more than other programs, but, for a frame of reference, it's much cheaper than the $2500 industry standard forensic recovery program.

  Summary

  This little program is quite effective at recovering deleted files, directories, and files within directories and sub-directories. Unfortunately, registering this program to recover >10 K files is quite expensive. Moreover, if you have a large hard drive, you have to wait a long time for the program to scan every file and directory. Program could use more options such as the ability to control who deeply you scan directories and sub-directories. In summary, this is an effective, stable, easy-to-use program, but is too expensive.
