Pop quizzes in the classroom are never any fun, but sometimes testing yourself at home is the best way to learn a subject. Quiz-Buddy lets you create and take simple multiple-choice quizzes, with humorous sounds and enjoyable animations to break the monotony of drills. Quiz-Buddy comes with 110 ready-to-use quizzes, and you can add your own using the built-in editor. The program also imports text files, though they are not purely comma-separated. The counter congratulates you for every 10 correct answers. You can reverse questions and answers to enhance memorization and print flash cards for drills away from the computer. Teachers, students, and parents will find Quiz-Buddy a useful way to spice up the old flash-card routine.

Pros
This is pretty much a lifesaver. I'm a med student, and I can't do without this program. You can create your own quizzes, and you learn without really thinking about it. Put some music on, and let the information diffuse into your brain
Cons
There are times when I make two entries that have the same answer, and both of the same answers pop up on the quiz. Also, I would like to see this on the iPhone or Android.

Pros
Very intuitive program yet simple to learn. As a senior tools for memorization become a valuable tool to keep the mind sharp. I use the type-in (fill in the blanks) and then test myself with the multiple-choice, matching, true or false.
Cons
I could not find any "Cons"

If you enjoy learning that involves memorization this program will more than adequately meet your needs..

Pros
Being able to input our own information and customize the drills to our weekly needs. No more lost flashcards! The drill is entertaining! The program keeps track of missed answers and redrills for you, no more, "you already asked me that".
Cons
There is nothing I don't like about this program.
Summary
We have used this program for years and would be lost without it. It was the greatest investment we ever made in our homeschool and we have made some costly ones! The support has been wonderful also. We have had a couple of computer issues and lost our program, support system fixed us right back to quizzing! Everyone needs a copy of Quiz-buddy!

Pros
Quiz Buddy is the best software available for learning rote material. It is easily customizable for older user's advanced coursework yet entertaining and fun enough to keep the interest of younger users. Also the customer service is phenomenal!
Cons
I've been using versions of this software for years and still haven't found a problem.

You can write your own quizzes within minutes. Hugely valuable for self-testing. A great program at a reasonable price

I haven't come across any issues with Quiz buddy. In the future perhaps a premiunm program could allow more room for longer questions. Just right now at this reasonable price. User forums?

Pros
I used to idle away spare time with solitaire - what a waste. Now in any spare time I use Quiz-Buddy to check my knowledge. I'd feel lost without it.

The only thing I wouldn't like is losing the program

LOOOOVE IT!!! I first started using Quiz Buddy in 2004 when I needed to study for an important medical exam (I passed). The Quiz Buddy has a lot of built in tests already programmed in, however, I needed it for my own personal test. I began building my test, which helped me retain a lot of information in itself. After I built my test, I pushed all the books, articles, net printouts, loose paper with notes, etc, off the table. From that point on, I only used the Quiz Buddy. It has some type of memory that keeps track of the questions that I get wrong. Those questions would reappear more frequently until the Quiz Buddy recognized that I was retaining my new knowledge. I also like the summery that tells me how often I have gotten the question right or wrong (my weak areas). When I can?t take my Quiz Buddy with me, I simply print out a quiz that I can answer in pencil! The Quiz Buddy also prints out an answer sheet too!! As an adult, the Quiz Buddy is a great tool to keep my skills and memory up to date. Plus, I can see where children of all ages would find this software cool! With the graphic, animated noise, bells and whistles praising your correct answers!! I also used it on a regular basis to help my daughter with her school work. I build the test for her ? concentrating the questions on her weak areas. She takes her Quiz Buddy tests on her own and checks on her progress regularly. What a great product in many ways!!! Great customer service? an added plus!

Pros
This is ideal for an odd minute, to practice your french for example, or for a longer study period. It has many types of questions, and applauds your correct answers! I have not even used all of it, but I'm certainly inclined to purchase it when my trial runs out.
Cons
It does repeat the same questions sometimes, even within the same set of questions.

This program is easy to use, yet very sophisticated with a special adaptive algorithm that adjusts questions to your answers, so that you can spend time learning what you don't know, not what you have already know. You can add pictures, sounds and text. <p>The interface is visually attractive and really enjoyable. <p>Great thing about the program is that you can use it on your Palm, and pay nothing for it! I highly recomend it for anyone who uses flashcards to study. Great program! Thank you!
