If you've ever tried to uninstall programs with the Windows Add or Remove Programs control panel, you know how long it takes to open. That's because it's gathering a bunch of information you probably won't even need. QuikUninstall, by contrast, simply displays a list of program names, so it opens in no time.

An as-you-type filter helps winnow down the list--a great idea. Unfortunately, uninstalling programs isn't as simple as it should be. If you left-click the name of a program, QuikUninstall highlights it but doesn't let you do anything else. To uninstall a program, you need to right-click its name without left-clicking it. Also, if you're not using Windows XP, you may need to download the .NET framework to make QuikUninstall work.

We're thrilled someone is offering a speedy, free uninstallation utility, but QuikUninstall needs some polish before we can give it our wholehearted recommendation.

Pros
It got rid of a program that was not functioning properly. My Vista's Add/Remove programs did not work either in regular or safe mode; CC did not do the job. But your QuikUnistall 1.1 worked the first time.
Cons
That it is not "free" after all.

I would like a program that advertises itself to be free to be...free. I do appreicate your letting me try it out.

Blindingly fast - lovely UI (apart from having to right-click to uninstall) - I love the search feature!

Pros
When this uninstaller is first opened it has a small interface. But the interface can be maximized, to get a better view of installed programs. Left click on the first installed program at the top, and it will scroll the list of installed programs. <p>I uninstalled six installed programs with uninstaller, and it does a good job of uninstalling programs. To uninstall any program is simple, just right click on the program and select uninstall. One more thing this uninstaller loads installed programs, faster than windows add or remove programs does.

If you're after a no-nonsense uninstaller, look no further. Have used QU for quite a while now, and wouldn't consider using anything else. Ideal if you install a lot of game demos - Add/Remove programs is far too slow for me!

I love the filter feature - very useful when you have a lot installed. A very clean UI, no useless bells-and-whistles like a lot of other uninstallers...

Confusing, as at first after it uninstalls it doesnt tell you that what ever you uninstalled has been uninstalled you have to figure it out for yourself by going to ADD and remove to check if its gone.
