great for student language work
coie66- Pros
- I have never had much luck with using keyboard shortcuts for accents. This allows me to "drag + drop" of the same font that I am using in my text documents in Open Office free software. Very happy someone shared this with us
- Cons
- no problems...have had it since it was issued.

Developer’s Description
Allows you to enter non-standard characters easily into documents and applications. The interface is streamlined for rapid entry, and supports single-click character transfer. Quick Key is ideal for mathematics, foreign languages, and font development. Quick Key improves on the standard Character Map design by providing more power over the character transfer process, and a more flexible interface for simultaneous use with other applications.
The application operates in the notification area of your taskbar to keep your screen clean and uncluttered. Quick Key is essential for learning about Unicode, glyphs, and fonts in general. Works better out of the box, although customization is still useful. Mouse setting defaults and keystroke emulation settings have been changed, so that most people can use the program without any prior training. Version 5.2.2.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
