This tool did a great job destroying my .pst file. I was lucky I backed up before using this tool.

Terrible, Terrible, tool. First of all this product runs slow. If you want to save time with this tool look else ware. I ran this product against my 1Gig .pst file and it took nearly 2 hours to run and slowed my machine to a crawl. After running pstcompactor I was left with a corrupted .pst file!!

It actually works & is easy to use. Some PST's didn't fair as good as others but on the whole, very impressed. Remote Deployment feature very impressive - nice price too :)

The info on downloads.com is a little outdated.. prices have changed. Also takes quite a while to process lots of PST's. <p> <p>Could also do with some more report formats.

Summary
Normally I donÂ’t bother posting comments about apps but this time IÂ’m making an exception. This really is a good product - it helped us recover just shy of 31% from PSTÂ’s on our primary site.. our GMÂ’s mailbox reduced by 90.23% (I kid you not!!) VERY easy to use, good reports. The price supprised us - $189 for the whole company.. not per server or mailbox. Not really for home users but strongly recommended for any biz with lots of PSTÂ’s!!
