• A very handy GUI for hash/crcs/etc.

  Pros

  Can do folder/subfolder generation for all files. Creates text/html output files for later comparisons. Supports almost every hashing algorithm in use(including the popular crc16/32/64, md5, sha series. Saves a lot of time when you want it to do a whole CD/DVD at once. Able to verify files against a previously saved result file to inform user about bad files.

  Cons

  Missing a help file(I couldn't find any) which would have been useful although all of the controls have tool tips. The first time I used it, I had it calculate all of the crc32s. I then went to save the results and it cleared the values and recalculated them as it wrote the file. Not a big deal but would have been nice to know this to save some time.

  Summary

  Very nice tool to have, especially if you save your downloaded files on CD/DVD and want to verify their integrity sometime in the future.
