Though the demo disables some important features, Privacy Guardian easily eliminates traces of certain online and offline activities. In general, the interface is convenient, allowing you to quickly erase your history with the tray icon. Another point in this application's favor is it won't hinder performance since it doesn't use much RAM when running in the background. The file shredder is accessible via both the main window and the Windows context menu, but it won't delete entire folders or let you choose from a list of different secure algorithms. Privacy Guardian removes junk files not only from Windows and Internet Explorer, but also from Opera. It also deletes traces from a large number of popular applications such as ICQ, Kazaa, and Google Toolbar, but the trial version disables this feature. The utility automatically cleans your computer at regular intervals. Privacy Guardian's simple, straightforward nature makes it suitable for PC novices and common users alike.

Caution! Will erase printers in Control Panel

ERASES any traces of installed printers in Control Panel. Technical live support is clueless and worthless. Their only response was restore Windows! Tech support is clueless on this software and what it does.

Nice interface , secure eraser options , cleanes all the trash in all microscopisch corners of your system ! Everywhere ! Runs great on Windows 7 64 bit .

I cleaned first with CCleaner , after i cleaned with TrackEraser pro (also a very good one) and for the last i runned PrivacyGarden and this one still found 20 MB to delete !!?? Yes ! This is the best and secure eraser on the net !!

None. Zero. Wasted an hour of my time.
Cons
I ran & "cleaned" with Privacy Guardian. Rebooted. Ran CCleaner, Adv. Sys. Care & Privacy Mantra again. Got the same exact results as before Privacy Guardian. NOT ONE %#&@! thing had been deleted, except Firefox's Add-ons and bookmarks.

Either the people who gave this mess a positive review are noobs, or they're getting PAID to write good reviews.

It seemed to remove all "errors" except for 3 with the demo.
Cons
It totally screwed up everything on my browsers from the simple yahoo homepage to everything that required flash or any plugin, app, or otherwise (even the ones I WANT to work). I had to spend hours getting things back to where they were.
Summary
If you download this it may work for you, but I'd bet it will also really make you angry and wish you hadn't. :(

Nothing to like. Would not work.

I'm using XP. When I installed the program, it would not update the list. It also prevented me from browsing the internet. Spent over an hour trying to right the problems.
Summary
I restarted the computer but the problems were still there. I tried to remove the program, by first disabling, but to no avail. Restarted the computer and then was able to uninstall via the uninstall file in the peerguardian folder. Could not reconnect to the internet until I reset my modem. Some files are still left in the peerguardian folder after the uninstall.

It clears out tracks pretty quickly. I have liked it not so badly. Features are pretty good, too.
Cons
Pretty expensive for such a program.

It's not so bad, after all, PC Tools has enabled about 75% of its features.

There are NONE that I could think of.
Cons
This program tends to miss alot, there is all kinds of stuff left on my computer. It cannot be trusted. It also wants to restart or refresh the app everytime which is pretty annoying. I do NOT recommend this product at all.
Summary
There are alot better ones out there than this mess, Check around first. I would recommend Privacy Eraser Pro, or East -Tec Eraser.
