- This is from primax.nl FAQ: <p>Q: Does this scanner work in Windows XP? <p>A: We do not support this scanner under windows XP. <p>Q: Does this scanner work with Windows 2000? <p>A: Yes, you can use the Windows NT drivers for it. In case you get errors during the installation process (File Permission error etc), just click on OK or Override to proceed with the installation.

- This driver does NOT work with Windows XP. As another matter of fact Primax say that: "Please note, we do not provide drivers for Windows XP, Linux or Mac operating systems. " This is a shame for Primax. When people buy such products thex expect driver updates for at least 10 years.

- it dose work on my computer and i have XP, but i do have the orginal taskbrige installed via the disk, and also adobe photoshop 7.0 which it uses for photos, also my scanner isn't connected through usb it's serial with the printer which may make a difference, well it defently works on my computer and with my primax D600
