• EXCELLENT PROGRAM AND FAST

  Pros

  My computer died on me but fortunately I had uploaded some albums to Google Web. With this program I was able to download them quickly and easily back on to my new computer, downloading directly from Google was soooo painfully slow.

  Cons

  not a con, but when downloading the album it goes straight to my pictures as individual photos and I can't seem to download them straight into a folder, does anybody know how to do this please?

I first came across it by chance and found it extremely difficult to re locate it. One user has mentioned that it downloads all photo's individually in my photo's, well if you make a folder in my documents first and call it i.e. picassa downloads it will download them straight to that folder

  Simple, clear, easily understandable, stable. I highly recommend this app!!

  Downloaded images lacked EXIF data. This is a small problem, and may be due to the way the album is set up.

  besides being simple to use, the one thing I like about it is the ability to straighten skewed pictures, and the different tones that one can add. It is a phenomenal program, and free as well, what more can one ask.

• Download Picasa Albums easily

  Pros

  It let's you download full albums or just some photos, complete with thumbnails. But the best feature in my opinion is the ability to retrieve photos from private albums, by simply entering the URL from the invitation e-mail. Nice touch!

  Cons

  The only problem I've encountered so far is that the application doesn't recognize international Picasa domains in invitation URLs (i.e. http://picasaweb.google.es/...). But just changing it to .com made the trick!
