Summary
Uses too much CPU power. I have 16GB of RAM. Over a period of time, my PC tends to use all of it even though, I don't have that many programs opened. I was looking for a software that can release the RAM hogged by some unknown program on my PC. Clevercache is not that software.

Pros
It seems to do something for the startup (a definite speed increase), manages memory without negative impact and even seem to deal with some observed memory usage growth observed prior (without being released ever).
Cons
Not sure it does anything at all in terms of file caching. Access to files still causes freeze of applications on my laptop.
Summary
The interface is simple and easy to use. Leave as automatic optimization (probably best) for immediate results. If you hope for a dramatic change in file access though and hope this product would resolve issues you may have, think again. Overall, it is a good product but not perfect.

This made my iTunes skip my music... When I uninstall it, wow! It stopped! I guess it stored the music on the hard drive instead of the RAM! How great is that?!

Yeah... this just doesnt work... Maybe its good for basic use, but not for video games, or music, and stuff like that...

Easy to install, uninstall. Nice interface.
Cons
Uninstalled it after 10 days of the demo because it didn't seem to do anything. Saw no difference in performance but I have a high end machine to begin with. This may work better on a older/lesser performance machine.

Before installing this program I used to play Commandos 3 and I have only 256MB RAM, eveytime I changed angle to see the other position of the scene when I am playing it almost always freezes for about 8-10 seconds. It's so frustrating but I understand that the game requires at least 512MB RAM memory. And then I tried using other RAM optimizers, but all of them failed to satisfy me...still my playing with commandos 3 hangs for seconds. But after I installed O&O CleverCache Pro it instantly changed the way my gaming behaves...it didn't freezes anymore. It's a kind of steroid shots, my playing got smoother. I felt it also have improved my system performances, and this is not just an ordinary system optimizer. You have to try it for yourself, especially if you have only 256MB RAM and play some games that freezes that requires 512MB RAM. To see is to believe. I hope I have this thing when I first bought my pc. This is one of the must in our pc. And installing it is a snap, you don't have to do anything. Just leave it alone then restart your pc, the automatic setting will do all the thing for you.

First off this program looks slick smooth and clean just like other O&O programs do. At first you might not notice any differeance but soon you'll realize that the 2nd time you run a application or open a folder its much faster and that increases responsivness and decreases that grinding sound your hard drive makes when swapping. I like it.
Cons
Tray icon doesnt look like much. <p>Cant tell what that sidebar does on the side in the mainmenu. <p>Sometimes doesnt activate on start up and becomes annoying; asking you to if you want it on.
