Though it offers some nice features, this nutrition planner isn't user-friendly. NutriGenie Kidney Disease Nutrition's interface is packed with buttons but no guide to using them. Though you enter weight and other information at setup, you'll have to renter it to use the Cholesterol Profile and other features. Quite a few tools are offered, a BMI calculator and blood pressure tracker among them, but diet planning features are limited. You can create a menu and save it in one format, recognized only by the program, but there's no option to add a date and file names are limited. It's fairly easy to add foods to meals, and comprehensive nutritional information is provided for each item and the meal as a whole. The trial version disables or limits access to some features. This program offers a great deal, but most users, especially novices, will want an easier-to-use weight loss planner and guide.
