• Too many popups and does not uninstall.

  Attaches notes to emails.

  Cons

  Doesn't do it properly and refuses to be uninstalled, annoys the crap out of you even after uninstalling with popups and menus.

  Summary

  !!!! REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS !!!!! In Outlook (I use 2010), go to Options, Add-ins, click Manage COM add-ins at the bottom, select 'Notes4Outlook', press remove. Restart Outlook and voila this piece of crap is gone. Then go and remove its directory in Program Files and any other shortcuts leftover.

  It is a great concept only if it worked. Not 1 star, it is zero stars!

  Cons

  It is completely unstable,repeatedly crashes Outlook. EVEN the uninstall did not work, The company support is terrible, email only and next day service (maybe). After The company refused to issue a refund saying that they had many satisfied users.

  Summary

  My summary is this, even if this software was perfect (which is it the opposite) I would never work with a company that treats it's customers like dirt. The product is unstable, buggy, and impossible to remove. As the tech support professional in my company, I've banned the product internally. I'd advise everyone to use caution in installing this or face hours of rebuilding your system.

  Notes4Outlook caused Outlook 2007 to crash repeatedly. Every note popup caused a loud static screech. Uninstalling didn't completely remove program from Outlook bars, manual fussing was required to get rid of it.

  Summary

  Note attachment is such an obvious function that it's bizarre Microsoft doesn't include it as a basic feature in Outlook. Note4outlook is priced from $29 to $59 depending on where you find it on the web but in its unstable condition it's maybe a $9.99 value.

• GARBAGE! Crashes Outlook repeatedly.

  Pros

  If it didn't continually crash Outlook, it would be a nice add on.

  Cons

  Crashed Outlook continually. No phone number for customer support. No refund policy from the vendor (they say there are thousands of happy users). Vendor refuses to acknowledge the crashing problem, said it should work. I would steer clear!

  Summary

  As I said, if it worked, the features would be quite nice but the vendor has total disregard for the customer, will not provide a phone contact, will not acknowledge that a problem exists.
