This multifunctional application tries to handle several desktop application functions, but, contrary to its name, does not make the process enjoyable. NJoyNow Desktop Utility Software sports a small, poorly designed interface with options for creating shortcuts for commonly used applications, converting image files, removing installed software and start-up entries, creating reminder notes, performing screen captures, and viewing your URL favorites. In our tests, software and start-up removal, Favorites viewing, and screen capturing were easy functions to perform. However, the removal process is already available in Windows Task Manager, URL Favorites are available with any browser, and screen captures are limited to full screens with no edit capabilities. To generate shortcuts, for example, you must access the NJoy Manager feature, click the Topic button, and select target files or folders. You're given no clue as to where and how to start. Creating reminder notes is another exercise in frustration. With its missteps, this 14-day trial will not impress any users.
