Does not work in Windows XP. Many OpenGL errors popup on startup and reappear immediately after clicking OK. I work frequently with openGL, so it was not that openGL was setup wrong.

It's a good little 3D program and I was surprized that it would work on XP but it did. It's alot like Wings 3D that you can download for free @ wings3d.com but wings doesnt have the paint option
I have a well maintained system... but this won't work.

I installed it with care, my sytem is modern. It gives two error reports repeatedly that lock it up. The good side is that I was able to close the app by using control+alt+delete. That is, it didn't crash the entire system. Maybe you'll be one of the luckier ones :)

ok i downloaded then when opened it said do u wish to install nendo version 1.1.6 and then clicked yes then it installed some stuff but i can't find it

I have found that NENDO is a realy great 3D model creation tool. Unfortunatly it seems difficult to actually buy the said software. But because of this a group has made something very similar called WINGS 3D. This is a must have for anyone into 3D modelling. A BIG THANKYOU TO WINGS 3D TEAM REGARDS PHILL.C.
It dies alot, but still is best I've ever seen.

Nendo is a 3D modeling and painting package that is simple enough for the novice and powerful enough for the professional. You can create 3D objects for use in model libraries, games, print material, Web sites, visual simulations, and architectural applications. Nendo allows you to model objects in a 'digital clay' environment, with an interface based on traditional sculpting. It offers a variety of modeling functions--such as extrude, scale, rotate, connect, bevel, inset, mirror, and smooth--to create organic as well as hard-edged objects. Its 3D painting module allows you to paint in an interactive 3D environment using familiar painting tools with brush options such as size, opacity, and softness, as well as color and texture selection. Nendo also allows you to export your creations in a variety of file formats (.obj, .x, .3ds, and .wrl) for use in other 3D applications.

Nendo 1.5 was revised to work better with Windows XP and to be more compliant with newer OpenGL 1.1 compliant video cards. It includes a new help system, and new sample models, scripts, and textures.
