USED to be good but no more
sndwnrJuly 21, 2010
Pros
It retrieves DVD information fairly fast. Lots of use-able fields
Cons
No longer retrieves DVD cover and... No one from customer support would answer e-mails
Summary
This USED to be my favorite DVD database program but NO MORE!!! All of a sudden it stopped downloading DVD covers with a message stating I had to search for them myself or scan them in (that I did NOT pay for...I paid for the "complete" program. I never did get a reply from customer service. I even tried installing the NEWER version and I couldn't get that to even install. Where is the support for this program? Did they take the money and run? Well, they lost me.
Great program, poor customer support

Pros
I like the way you can catalogue dvds and add the cover art, and search by number or title or director/actors
Cons
I thought when I bought this program last year that it was registered for life but when I updated it says my code is not correct, months of emailing and still no response for a new code.
Summary
needs an email address where you will actually get a response to your problems.
looks good but does not work well.

Pros
I like this program so much that I bought it. I like the way it prints out your list of DVDs and also how you get a summary of the movies.
Cons
I had a problem when reinstalling the software, it would not recognize my data file. I sent it to the developer (my file) at his request so he could see what was wrong with it, that was over 2 months ago and I have not heard back...yet
Summary
Finally get my movie collection in order

Pros
This is great if you are a bit anal like me who wanted to get my expanding collection of DVD's in order. <p>It is very good for doing so. <p> <p>They offer a good trial period to see if you really like the application. I am sure that most will think they do not need such an app, but the demo/trial is a good way to find out.
Cons
The search function is not as extended as I would have liked to see/use.
Summary
THIS IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT, VERY PROFESSIONAL, BEAUTIFUL, A TREMENDOUS VAULE!!!!

Pros
I HAVE SEEN THIS KIND OF QUALITY ONLY IN THE VERY EXSPENSIVE PROGRAMS OF THIS TYPE, BUT NONE OF THEM COME CLOSE TO THE PERFECTION, ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL DISPLAYED, EXTREMLY EASY TO USE, IT IS ALWAYS UPDATING ITSELF FOR NEW AND VERY USEFUL FEATURES. VERY INGENIOUS AND PERFECTLY LAID OUT ON THE SCREEN. IF I NEEDED ASSISTANCE WITH THIS PRODUCT OR HAD FEED BACK, THE SAME DAY I HAD AN ANSWER THAT WORKED. IT HOLDS ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF DVD TITLES AND EACH ONE HAS AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF INFORMATION BOTH VISULAL AND TEXT. I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER WITH THIS PRODUCT AND I AM VERY PROUD AND THRILLED TO OWN IT AND SHOW IT OFF TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO I CAN KEEP TRACK OF WHAT DVDS THEY HAVE. THANK YOU MY DVDS FOR THIS TRULY GREAT PRODUCT!!!
Cons
Summary
Wish it had more search options. Want to search by Actor/Actress.

Pros
Visual & colors
Cons
No search by actor/actress. Also, didn't check but want to print by different sorts as it would help re-order the actual library.
Summary
it won't "register"
rrtopazMay 9, 2006
Pros

Cons
won't let me register at registration window; says i must enter "TRIAL", which i did, then "runtime error" window appeared and does not function. i've downloaded it twice and the same thing happens. fugeddaboutit!
Summary
I can't believe I didn't find this sooner!

Pros
I have been maintaining more than three hundred dvds in a apreadsheet! The interface with the web to download is awsome! Now I jsut type in a title and click. After that I only have to add owner and the price. I could go on and on but I can sum this up in two words, BUY IT!
Cons
I can't think of a single thing!
