Manage and catalog your DVD collection and retrieve appropriate information from the Web.

Manage and catalog your DVD collection. Information for most DVDs can be found and retrieved from the Web by title including cover images. It stores title, year, rating, runtime, actors, director, genre, synopsis, special features, notes, owner, purchase date. You can search through DVDs by most fields, find, and play trailers from the Web and print and export DVD lists. The interface has a presentation look and feel so it can be used when you are home or have company and want to decide what to watch. Hot keys are also setup to scroll through DVDs so for those with remotes for their PC, and for those that have video out to connect to your TV, you can sit back on the couch and scroll through your DVDs using the previous and next buttons on your remote.

It retrieves DVD information fairly fast. Lots of use-able fields

No longer retrieves DVD cover and... No one from customer support would answer e-mails
Summary
This USED to be my favorite DVD database program but NO MORE!!! All of a sudden it stopped downloading DVD covers with a message stating I had to search for them myself or scan them in (that I did NOT pay for...I paid for the "complete" program. I never did get a reply from customer service. I even tried installing the NEWER version and I couldn't get that to even install. Where is the support for this program? Did they take the money and run? Well, they lost me.

I like the way you can catalogue dvds and add the cover art, and search by number or title or director/actors

I thought when I bought this program last year that it was registered for life but when I updated it says my code is not correct, months of emailing and still no response for a new code.
Summary
needs an email address where you will actually get a response to your problems.

I like this program so much that I bought it. I like the way it prints out your list of DVDs and also how you get a summary of the movies.
Cons
I had a problem when reinstalling the software, it would not recognize my data file. I sent it to the developer (my file) at his request so he could see what was wrong with it, that was over 2 months ago and I have not heard back...yet

This is great if you are a bit anal like me who wanted to get my expanding collection of DVD's in order. <p>It is very good for doing so. <p> <p>They offer a good trial period to see if you really like the application. I am sure that most will think they do not need such an app, but the demo/trial is a good way to find out.
Cons
The search function is not as extended as I would have liked to see/use.

I HAVE SEEN THIS KIND OF QUALITY ONLY IN THE VERY EXSPENSIVE PROGRAMS OF THIS TYPE, BUT NONE OF THEM COME CLOSE TO THE PERFECTION, ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL DISPLAYED, EXTREMLY EASY TO USE, IT IS ALWAYS UPDATING ITSELF FOR NEW AND VERY USEFUL FEATURES. VERY INGENIOUS AND PERFECTLY LAID OUT ON THE SCREEN. IF I NEEDED ASSISTANCE WITH THIS PRODUCT OR HAD FEED BACK, THE SAME DAY I HAD AN ANSWER THAT WORKED. IT HOLDS ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF DVD TITLES AND EACH ONE HAS AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF INFORMATION BOTH VISULAL AND TEXT. I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER WITH THIS PRODUCT AND I AM VERY PROUD AND THRILLED TO OWN IT AND SHOW IT OFF TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO I CAN KEEP TRACK OF WHAT DVDS THEY HAVE. won't let me register at registration window; says i must enter "TRIAL", which i did, then "runtime error" window appeared and does not function. i've downloaded it twice and the same thing happens. fugeddaboutit!

I have been maintaining more than three hundred dvds in a apreadsheet! The interface with the web to download is awsome! Now I jsut type in a title and click. After that I only have to add owner and the price. I could go on and on but I can sum this up in two words, BUY IT!
