View and modify queues and messages on your MSMQ integration server.
Both send and receive functions in MSMQ Explorer are based around tree representations of queues on the local or remote machine. From within the application you can delete and create public and private queues as well as purge them and their corresponding journals. You can also peruse and purge the system queues as well as the journal, poison and retry sub-queues. Have complete confidence that you're working within the confines of your integration architecture. MSMQ Explorer gives you the ability to load and edit XML and plain text messages directly within the application. Using the new HexEdit control, binary messages can also be sent and received. XML can be validated against an XML Schema Definition where both errors and warning are reported. Choosing the destination queue is as simple as selecting a queue in the explorer tree view, giving you full confidence that your message is going to the right place. User defined labels can be applied to all outgoing messages and clicking send will optionally re-evaluate XML for correctness before then sending to the target queue. Options are also available to set the "Time to Receive" and "Time to Queue" message properties, allowing straightforward testing of poison and retry message handling*.
