  Pros

  I had several MP3 files that were clean, but when joined would have a beep in a given spot. I tried joining these files with several other join programs with the same result. MediaJoin produced a clean copy.

  Cons

  1. While you can join any number of files (I think), at times its possible to select more than one file, at other times the files have to be selected one at a time, a real nuisance. 2. Joined output sometimes requires further tweaking: For example, when joining 3 MP3 files that are 1, 2 and 3 minutes long and 1MB, 2MB, 3MB in size, I often experienced that the joined file would be 6MB long, but when played would only be 3 minutes long. If I now open it with an editor (say Audacity, a great program) then it would show to be the correct 6 min and Audacity would save it as a 6 min MP3 file. I also could fix the output with MP3Diags applying the "Remove the mismatched Xing headers". You wouldnt know that this error occurred unless you happen to check. I think this is a serious flaw in the program.

  Summary

  Seems to work well, but you have to ensure that the output is valid. The code should always allow selecting multiple files.
