• I can play Blu-ray movies on my laptop with this app.

  Pros

  My laptop came with a Blu-ray drive, but I can't seem to play Blu-rays with it. With this perfect app, I can watch my favourite Blu-ray movies on laptop when traveling. This is a pretty clever work around.

  Pros

  Aiseesoft Blu-ray Player is an amazing media player. It not only allows me to play my blu-ray disc but also play Blu-ray folder and Blu-ray ISO files on my PC. With this software, I can enjoy any excellent and high quality movie at home.

  Plays Blu-Ray discs acceptably. Seems to play discs from any region.

  Some jerkiness in the image. Interface rather crude. No disc menus.

  Seems to play Blu-Ray discs OK with some jerkiness. This is on a decent machine, with Win 7 x64, 4GB RAM, 120GB SSD, and dedicated PCIe NVidia video card with 1GB video RAM. No original disc menus are available. This software appears to be a hacked version of VLC that includes the codecs to play Blu-ray discs, and ignores the region coding. Points for that - indeed, that's why I bought it.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 3, 2014<p/>OK moved the video card and installed the software on a different computer, and so far the jerkiness seems to be gone. I wish I could edit the original review, because I think I would add a star.   The best player I've purchased. The clear HD image quality makes both me and my friends suprised. Support the latest BD movie, play smooth, no noise and no virus. All is perfect.

  Pros

  My favorite BD movie: "A Nightmare On Elm Street" can be play best on this player. To my surprise, it is able to play all of my BD discs. SO GOOD!

  The only thing free about this is the download. Buyer Beware read their user agreement basically they don't have to give you anything they can change the pricing at will. The player is water marked as soon as you install it. Play back was worse than a real slow streaming internet connection and their user agreement says they won't give you a refund if you're not happy with the software. Seemed so shady I reset my credit card that I had entered to purchase the software&gt;

  Summary

  BEWARE!!! read their EULA. If you do purchase this suboptimal player watch your card for erroneous charges, this software may end up costing you alot more than the $39 they supposedly charge for the software.

  Message I sent to technical support in July 2013: Message sent on July 8th, 2013: Hi, I have this message while watching a movie: "blu-ray player file loading failed". I have a purchased software from you and registered. The disk is clean with no scratch. This happened in the middle of the movie. ----------------------------------------------- I am still waiting to get an answer and I send them many emails ...
