- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I totally agree with Arno's comments below. This app. does not compare to DiskTracker, CD Finder or CDCatalogMaker. It's requires a few clicks just to catalog a disk. Is no faster then the other apps. It's searching capabilities are poor and when it does find something it doesn't bring you straight to the item instead you have to navigate through the folder paths to the item. Since it doesn't allow you to browse a disc at all it doesn't even show you what other items are in a folder with the item you searched for. With DiskTracker you can grab a folder right out of DT and drag it to a different disc or sever volume (as long as the disk is mounted). I'm really not sure what this app would be useful for. DT has all kind of useful features missing from Media Catalog. DT does auto scanning, prints labels, etc.. Save your $15 bucks and buy any of the other 3 programs listed above.

This is a fantastic util, this is a simple, easy to use, welcomed program. Nice work! Works a lot better then CDFinder or Disktracker! I would recommend Media Catalog for enyone!!

The toolbar items could be more pretty, but they're functional the way they are. I recommend this product to people who have a lot of archive material, because this app is very handy in searching it. I'll definitely register!
