Used MD5hasher for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This freeware utility computes MD5 checksums to check file integrity, though directories are beyond its scope.
MD5hasher doesn't require installation, but you'll need to unzip the executable file to run it. The program's ultrasimple interface lets you quickly browse or drag and drop files to calculate the file's checksum. The program takes only a few seconds to compute the checksum of most files. Users can save computed checksums in MD5hasher readable files. From there, you can compare files to their expected checksums. If the values match, the Check field turns green, otherwise you see red.
We like the program's Windows shell integration and its ability to check all file types. Unfortunately, MD5hasher can't check complete folders of files with one click. Even so, MD5hasher is a great tool for programmers and software developers who need to validate file integrity.
