• Saves me a lot of time

  Pros

  I use the program daily to perform routine tasks like logging into web sites, backing up data, and copying data from an order entry program to an online web form, etc.. I've set up some macros to send small bits of text, like signatures and responses. It's a real time saver!

• Saves an enormous amount of time

  Pros

  I've used this product for about 10 years and have always meant to write a review. In the past decade of use, it's probably saved me 5,000 hours of time. Not kidding. I've created macros for a variety of routine tasks. Haven't even told my colleagues about this because I can do my work in half the time. This program is not for the novice computer user. You have to have a little knowledge of how to translate what you would do if you were sitting at the keyboard into a macro. Not really hard, but my 65 year-old dad, for example, would not find it helpful.

  Cons

  The search feature in the editor is a little slow. I don't mean terribly slow, but it takes 10 seconds or so to search through about 50 macros. I don't use that often, so not a big deal, but it seems like a text search would be a lot faster.

  Summary

  If you have some computer experience or otherwise can write a macro that first launches a program and then sends a variety of keystrokes, and you do repetitive tasks, this program can save you COUNTLESS hours of work!

One of my tasks is to process certain web pages where automation would be most welcome. I've struggled with other macro programs trying to get them to communicate with non-MS products such as my favorite web browser, Opera. While many of the other macro programs are geared toward Internet Explorer, MM handles Opera with no difficulties! MM makes it a snap and it works! I recommend it highly! Incidentally, the price posted here ($45) is not correct - I paid $29.95 for MM.
