• Swiss Army Knife of Office 365 Data Integration

  MSO365August 23, 2013

  Pros

  * I have tried SQL, Access, Excel/CSV, file share ... all worked fine for me * Takes just minutes, no programming * Full integration with SharePoint, all list features - I've found no limitations * Support was very fast to help with sample connection strings

  Cons

  * SharePoint lists and columns must be created manually before connect * Depending on connection speed synchronization could take time

  Summary

Closes large gaps with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online out-of-the-box external data integration via SkyDrive or SkyDrive Pro. Simple, but powerful replication concept that works for any data source. A must-have for all companies, that go to Office 365 and wanted to have more benefits with local integration.
