• Remarkably, the Ubuntu version blows this one away.

  Pros

  Well, it's a great alternative to the last.fm website if you have a slower computer that has trouble running the heavy, resource-intensive flash plugin. It's nice and pretty light weight and very easy to use.

  Cons

  It doesn't come with any of the bells and whistles that the last.fm website comes with. You won't see any slideshows, or have access to many of the social features of last.fm. Also, the user interface could use a bit of some sprucing up.

  Summary

  It's great if you want to stream last.fm radio and have it out of your way. Because it's a separate app, it won't interrupt your browser workflow. It's also great for older computers that might have trouble running Adobe Flash. Otherwise, It's a bit lacking in features, and has a pretty clunky user interface.

  its simple to use, you have access to your account.

  Cons

  i wish the interface was cleaner looking. its pretty bulky. i personally dont need huge play and stop buttons. having a mini mode would be nice, were you could click to expands if you wanted to see artist information and ect.

  youll find a bunch of great new music.easy to set up .nice clean look and easy to scobble your songs from ipod iphone etc.

  youll find out other people are more indie then you :( *tears* . that you gotta sign in to your profile even tho your sign in to this.that bugs me.

  its great the con is a small thing just kind of annoying but like the title says if you like last fm youll love this :).

  Pros

  Not much pro anymore.A,s,a,you want to listen you are pressed to buy a membership.And you cannot listen to the songs for free anymore.

  Because the above I have deleted last fm from my PC.

  Summary

  Used to listen for hours doing my computer work,however,since re-installing last fm on a new computer somehow the newer version had all those restriction in its program. Always loved it,but more hasslefree music elsewhere.

  listen to radio all day based on the bands you like interface is simple to use doesn't hog bandwidth or resources

  auto start is near to impossible to disable, have managed to prevent it with everything but Itunes and even then it was a pain. If you dont diable it the program starts playing your last station when you start windows or a media player
