Sights 'n Sounds is a simple and fun to use Streaming Media Server. It allows anyone to stream music and video files to all the computers in their house or over even stream content over the Internet. Sights 'n Sounds also manages all your digital photographs. Pages are automatically created complete with thumbnails. Access to your music, video, and pictures is through a standard Internet browser such as Netscape or IE. You can even password protect your site so that only your friends and family can access it. All of your music, video, and photographs are stored on your own computer so there are no special services to sign up for and no site to send your files to. Sights 'n Sounds gives you the power that up till now has been reserved for the audio/video professional but is simple enough to set up that even a computer novice will find it intuitive. I tested it on another computer using wireless on a different network and it worked...used other similar software and those ones didn't work...This software actually streams live content from your pc.

Cant think of any.
Summary
I reccommend this software for anyone that doesn't knowmuch about servers...u must atleast know how to configure your router tho.

Very cool application and very easy to set up and use. I was able rip all my CDs and store them on my computer at home and then play the songs on my computer at the office. Setup was simple, all you have to do is copy the songs afeter you rip them into the folder that is put on desktop as part of the install. I set my folders up so that each album was in its own folder. That makes it easier to find stuff. It has a text search feature to locate titles. It even does digital picures. I copied my digital pictures into the folder and it created thumbnails for each photo. To get to your pictures and mp3 files all you need is a browser. I use IE and have had no problems. To play music you will need the windows media player (hopefully they support WinAmp soon). I have been running it for a few days and haven't had any problems with it so I would say that it is stable. Two thumbs up.
