Create and play your own unique synthesizer with this simple software instrument.

Real-time additive synthesizer that contains 16 oscillators, 16 amplitude envelopes, and 16 lfos. This synthesizer is written in C++, using MFC and DirectSound. AddSynth responds to note-on, note-off, and program-change messges. If no MIDI input device is connected, AddSynth will respond to keyboard input.

This is a good program designed to enhance your listening experence by expanding and adding fullness to your music. Updated on Sep 30, 2010My review is incorrect. I thought I was writting a review for AstoundSound. Not knowing how to delete my review I can only suggest you ignore my review for AddSynth.
Now just an AD Site with links to lots of ads. No Product to download.

I quickly realized, while trying to find composing software, that this was only made to accompany midi software by creating instrument types which one can load into it. It'd be okay for those who would use such a thing if it didn't come with adware. In the installation report it says something to the effect of: "Legal Disclaimer: Addsynth may install ad software on your computer, and occasionally make use of your internet connection" Ugh. No.
