• GOT LYRICS FOR ENTIRE ITUNES MUSIC LIBRARY IN ONE SHOT

  Pros

  Easy to install (be sure to get Version 2.7 for Windows 8 and set the default Windows Compatibility mode). Kick it off and it automatically downloaded ALL the lyrics for ALL my thousands of songs (with a few exceptions for instrumental-only music and lesser-known items it couldn't find in online sources). No muss, no fuss.

  Cons

  Took me a while to figure out that on my Windows 8 'desktop-mode' laptop, which lacks a touchscreen and doesn't use Metro, it was necessary to run the Windows Compatibility tool. That's a Windows problem, not a problem with the app, but worth mentioning to make YOUR life easier if you find it doesn't work right off on your Windows 8 system.

  Summary

  I can't believe how seamless this was. One of the few 'freeware' items for which it turns out to be worth making a donation.
