Kids PC Time Administrator lets you create a schedule for PC access, though it isn't as good at carrying out the task as we expected. The program's functional interface is password protected and offers easy access to its devices. You can easily allot time restrictions per user or quickly select a template schedule. Only administrators with the password can change or override time restrictions, disable the Task Manager, restrict access to programs or files, or prevent users from tampering with the system time. The program didn't immediately log the system off when we tried to login outside the allotted time. Instead it gives a login screen to enter the password to suspend the time restriction, hangs around longer than the specified time and shuts down, though not consistently. While activities were suspended, we would've preferred for the program to simply log us off as we instructed. The ability to regulate access to specific Web sites, possessed by many of its competitors, would've been a great addition. Kids PC Time Administrator works, though it isn't the most dependable means of managing computer habits.
