Just Rubbish

- I don't understand the bad reviews- the software installed flawlessly and I was able to get my lost Win 7 product key immediately. To top it off, it's free. 5 stars to the programmer!

- It is fast and accurate. Easy to use within it's parameters.

- You cannot select which drive you want to work with. I found this to be a big hole the program. I have 2 HD's and 2 CD/DVD drives that I use, and I want be able to start Keyfinder Thing 3.1.6 and then have it ask me where to go; C:, D:,E: F: J: and a multi Card Reader or whateverelse I might be using to keep programs on..

Recovers A few More Keys than the Program "Product Key"

- It does recover a few more keys than the Product Key but actually I have none on my computer and it is loaded. They appear to be mostly older programs that are now superseded by newer ones.

- Doesn't recover enough to be worth the effort. They have another program for $25 that does recover more and that is called "Recover Keys." I doubt it is worth the price.I could see$5.95 but not $24.95.
- Summary
- Don't bother. Make a speadsheet in Excel and everytime you get a new program enter the product registration information. You'll be money ahead and have a better and more complete record.
