This easy-to-use typing tutorial boasts a well-designed interface that operates like an animated typing lesson. The program lets you choose either the standard QWERTY style layout or the alternate Dvorak system. And though the first lesson seems elementary, the pace quickly picks up. Only the first five of 24 lessons are included in the trial version, but there's no limit to how many times they can be used. The program supports multiple users and allows each to define their own preferences. Lessons start with a tutorial window that describes the objectives for that particular session. At the end of a tutorial, the report window displays statistics such as accuracy and words per minute, and you also can view your progress in a graph. There's even a tab that offers advice on correct posture and other ergonomic tips. Although we wish the trial version were a bit more robust, this program makes a fine substitute for a real-world typing class.

I have a question. I had purchased and used Key Advantage Typing but mistakenly dragged it into my trash. now when i drag it out of my trash it seems I have to purchase it again. What can i do.

Very clear, and emphasizes accuracy over speed, which is very good.
Cons
Unfortunately, the demo is extremely basic. You find out how the keyboard is taught, but there's no way to know what the practice is like. Too little info to base a purchase on.

-The graphics are really cool, and they have animation which I don't see a lot in normal applications. <p>-There is a Dvorak option if you want to learn that way. <p>-There are lifetime stats and certificates you can print <p>-The lessons are broken down so that you learn a few keys at a time and it builds up until you are completely typing.
