As of such specific cons for this Windows tool, except its free trial version that put certain limitation in allowing its user to save the recovered data. However, just by purchasing its complete licensed version, one could easily overcome this limitation.

It supports recovery from almost all Windows versions i.e. Win10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP and its other older versions. 3. It has a smooth algorithm. So user can easily recover their lost files and folders due to any unexpected Windows corruption. 4. It provides you to check/preview your recovered data before restore it at desired location, so that you can easily recognize your recovered data and restore it accordingly.
Cons
There are no major cons for this Windows tool. but yes the Trial version of this tool does not allows to save the recovered data. To get complete access, you need to purchase its Full version from its official website.

Hi Friends, I am old user of Windows operating system and data corruption and deletion issues is normal issue faced by me. I have 500 GB external hard disk and some days ago my hard disk was corrupted due to virus. I was in problem because there was some important data in hard disk that was more important to recover than I did search in Google and found Kernel for Windows Data Recovery Software. First I did not believe on this software but due to importance of my data I download free trial version of this software and found good result. I can not save my data with free trial version so I purchased license of this software and save my complete corrupted data. During working with this software I did face some problem but I did consult for technical support executive and he helped me properly. Finally I am more happy because I have recovered my important data with this software. Last month I did lose my important data and I was facing problems but after visit this post I did download free kernel software. I can't believe that this software recover my complete data in a few times. due to free version I can not save my data and my data was too important so I purchased licensed version. now I am feeling happy because my data problem has been solved......

Nice interface. Quick scan of drive. Scan is very thorough.
Cons
Selecting the back button will require you to rescan your drive if you don't save the scan first. Should have a warning. Video files take some time to recover.
Summary
After trying a dozen other programs trying to recover data from a severely corrupted drive, this is the only program that was able to recover the files. Simply stated; it gets the job done.
