My brother and I each have Logitech QuickCam Communicate STXs on my PowerMac G4 and his iBook G4 and my sister has a GE EasyCam on her iMac G3. We're using the Macam drivers along side iChatUSBCam running Mac OSX 10.4.8. So far so good.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Works as described. Setup is very straightforward, and enables older USB cams on both my PowerBook and my old iMac. Also enables video chat capabilities in iChat for Mac systems slower than 500 MHz. The only shortfall is that you cannot save custom camera settings (i.e. brightness, contrast &amp; saturation). Still, the price is right and makes iChat more usable with a broader range of webcams. Highly recommended. Best, TRB

Way back in the beta (before panther) iTunes would not see my iPod even though it was mounted on the desktop. After trying this latest version, iTunes sees the iPod fine, but now iSync can't...
