Monitor your current IP address and accept changes of your Internet service provider.

If your ISP gives you a temorary IP address each time you log on, you can email your IP address automatically to your friends and office/home so that you can find your computer for remote access regardless of the constantly changing IP address. If you use your computer remotely or need to have other people access some server functionality on your PC you can let them know what your IP address is automatically when it changes.

The choice of either internal ip or external ip is just one of the great features of this program. The email works perfectly and the fact that you can create custom messages is a big plus. You need to be a little tech savy. Well worth the price.
Needed somehting like this badly. Great software!

The new 2004 version really does the trick as it also looks for the router IP address so it does not matter if you have a Wi-fi box or other gateway.
This is simply a bad solution.

There are MUCH better ways to solve the dynamic IP problem. Just go to no-ip.com and get a Dynamically Updated DNS name that will constantly point to your machine, no matter how many times your provider switches your address. (i.e. MyMachine.No-Ip.com will always point to your machine no matter how many times your IP changes) Price for No-Ip ranges from free to very reasonable.
