  The dials are pleasantly bizarre. For data input (under 'settings') they work poorly, but they definitely get style points.

  Cons

  Under Windows XP, after the first ping or two, the program reports the identical value for all subsequent pings. (There is a hint that the ping measurements are only accurate to 16ms, which may be why the number reported never changes.) Use the built-in Microsoft ping instead. <p> <p>Note: I *assume* the other ping products are telling the truth when they give an accuracy greater than 16ms.

  I have been looking for a gui pinger that makes sense and here is another one that confounds me. Very limited in scope and the meters never registered anything, it just kept pinging away with no end. Nice try but I'll keep using DOS.

  my beefs: 1. HUGE window, with no option to adjust. 2. Can only ping one host at a time. 3. no minimize to systray with a "live" display. 4. No "stay on top".
