Test the battery of your laptop.

Imtec Battery Mark produces testing in two modes (fast and normal) with two variants of load on hardware subsystem notebook: with full load or without it. At testing time construct a detailed graph of changes of level of battery power. All data stored in a report file for later viewing and analysis. The program fully supports multithread and multicore processors, which allows to reproduce the maximum possible load on the processor system to test a laptop in extreme conditions. Version 1.1 added support for more of batteries and laptop; added checking for program updates.

Pros
Held CPU at %100 and the fans for the system were on throughout the test. Nice graph of power discharge crossed with time. Did not try to sneak in any toolbars or extra stuff during install.
Cons
Did not disable power saving for monitor, so I had to hit the mouse every 10 min.
Summary
I just wanted to test several batteries in the same laptop- and was expecting to just charge them fully then watch the time as they ran down. This program gives you a graph with a timer and keeps the CPU load at %100 so you can watch that battery drain. Ran great on an HP Dv6000 with XPSP3. Test takes as much time as it takes for the laptop battery to run out but now I know, really know how much juice the battery has. Would be nice if it AUTO SET Windows to act like the laptop was on FULL POWER with no screen shut off etc. One star removed, even though it is FREE with no 'install google toolbar?' or 'install ask.com' carp during setup.
