The only thing this freeware application lets you do is to view the icons of an executable or ICO file. Browse a directory or navigate to a file, and Icon Viewer quickly displays the icon in its program window. The directory option quickly lists the number of ICO files found, but oddly does not include executables in the results. It also lets you compare the contents of two files to check if they are identical. That's where the features end. If you want to compare files, you have to manually type the names. The application's save feature is not yet implemented. It will list only one icon per executable even if some executables contain more than one icon in different formats. This small freebie, with its clumsy interface and scarcity of features, is hardly worth a load in its current state.
