Play a 3D ice fishing game.

Pishtech's Ice Fishing Derby is great fun for all ages, whether or not you enjoy ice fishing in real life. It's a five day fishing derby with big money on the line. The weather's not bad at all for the first day, but the forecast is for steadily falling temperatures. By the last day the cold and wind-chill will be deadly. Fortunately the bait shop sells portable fishing shanties and propane heaters that can protect you from even the worst weather. Now if you can just earn enough money in the first couple of days to afford them. As you catch bluegills, crappie, perch, walleyes and northern pike you'll earn money you can use in the bait shop before you start the next day. Play the casual Arcade Mode or if you're a serious ice angler, try the new Simulation Mode.

Pishtech's Ice Fishing Derby is full of surprises. Other anglers in the derby may offer you some deals: maybe some bait for a fish, maybe a fish for some propane, maybe and underwater camera for a power ice auger. Or someone may offer to sell you some mysterious bait that's not available in the bait shop. Some equipment only available in the full version.

Fun at your fingertips

Pros
3 Levels of good Ice Fishing with Periodic updates Free at the Pishtech Website. A visit to the forum is a must as this game is growing to be a winner. Arcade Mode with its offers from other fisherman and New Lakes and Fish Species add to the Fun
Cons
Graphics are getting better with each new update
Summary
A really fun way to spend some time doing something a little out of the ordinary,and with Free updates on the Pishtech Website and a Forum as well what more could you ask from a game that does not cost the earth and is a lot of fun. Can be addictive as you try to beat the Fear of Hypothermia getting you. Overall money well spent for some fun at home. In my opinion 4/5 but getting better with each new update

Pros
Game play is good as long as you have patience for the fishing part. Weather and time limit are realistic ie. how long hypothermia would take to actually set in. The more expensive items tend to perform better.
Cons
Basic 3-D graphics. I have the Rapala Pro Fishing game and it has the best I've ever seen. Having said that, the fish themselves are basic 3-D. Everything else underwater is pretty much a drawing. And when the fish crowd, they just move like logs.
Summary
The money and fishing part make it fun and challenging. As a winter fishing derby, it's fairly realistic. The fish AI (if u buy an underwater camera) don't behave 100% Overall, very entertaining, but if you are looking for a realistic hard core fishing game this might not be your cup of tea.
