very bad software and very bad company

Summary
On July 11, 2013, I spent USD$95 to purchase HotXLS for C++Builder 6, first they sent me the Delphi version, and on July 15, 2013, I got the C++Builder 6 version. After downloading the software, I setup the software and launched C++Builder, and opened a new project, place HotXLS compoent, then I press F9 to run, you know, HotXLS can not pass C++Builder compilation, there are several errors in HotXLS multiple header files. I think losLab never do HotXLS test on C++Builder 6, and from the error type, I think that HotXLS for C++Builder version can not work fine on any C++Builder variants. On July 16, 2013, I sent an email describing the problem I encountered, and I expected I can receive support in 1-2 days. But you know, the company just ignored any email I sent, in next few days, I re-sent the email and wait the reply, again, I received no any reply. After many email negotiations, (since losLab just simply ignore any email, I ask Avangate to help), till now, the most positive email I received on Aug 3, 2013. The following is the content of the email. (Since the HotXLS for C++Builder version is a buggy software, I request to refund, but losLab refused.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, We do NOT provide any refund due to our product is released as software source code, we're working on software bugs and will send available updates to existing customers. For the particular problem that Mr. Lin have, we are checking our software and will contact him soon. Best regards, losLab --------------------------------------------------------------------------- After receving the email, till now, Aug 20, 2013, 2 weeks were passed, no any more positive reply from losLab. losLab cannot give me any schedule that they have time to SEE the bug or FIX the bug. In my opinion, losLab is a company that can provide you a buggy software, and provide you no refund and no support. In my opinion, I think if a company can not provide an usable software, PLEASE DONOT SELL IT TO YOUR CUSTOMER.

HotXLS Excel Read Write Library is a high-performance excel read-write library & component for Delphi & C++Builder, it can writing new Excel spreadsheets, as well as reading and modifying existing Excel xls files without Excel installed. HotXLS is written in Object Pascal, it does not require Microsoft Excel /Office be installed, it reads and writes excel files directly. HotXLS works with Delphi 6/7/2006/2007/2009/2010 and C++Builder 6/2006/2007/2009/2010.
