Using Daal Arabic search technology this is a service to the Holy Quran that enables search for verses (ayat) by word, part of word, group of words, root or stem and copying resulting verse(s) or a part of them with reference to the Sura and the number of the verse (aya). The text of Surat Al-Mumtahana verse 11 had a vocalization error with a sukoon instead of damma which has been fixed in version 2.1.

I have found it useful and easy to use: <p>1- to quickly verify whether a quotation somebody has made is rightly from the Holy Quran or not <p>2- to quote Ayat about patience to comfort those who lost someone <p>3- to study some aspects e.g. did you know that Allahu subhanahu wa ta'ala has mentioned He likes "Allahu yu7ibbu" 16 times in the Qur'an which is the exact number of times where the Almighty says in his Holy Book that he does NOT like "Allahu la yu7ibbu". Amongst the dislikes: aggressors, traitors, the unjust and others. <p>4- as a teaching aid for Arabic since the text when quoted is fully diactrized (with full harakat).
Cons
1- You have to know Arabic. <p>2- Instructions on installation of Arabic and language issues are not clear <p> A (you have to have Arabic enabled Control Panel -> Regional and language options -> Languages -> Details) <p> B And on a friend's machine he had to set up MS Word to accept it (Tools -> Macro -> Security -> Trusted Sources -> Check "Trust all installed add-ins and templates").
