Create a printable grocery list with this plain but functional application that will even calculate item costs and tax. Grocery List Organizer is split into two panels, one for items to select from and one for your list. Click on an item to add it to your list, but you'll be limited to 50 items in the demo version. Grocery List Organizer is preset with a sample store and categories that include dairy, health and beauty, and produce. You can add or modify items and stores in the program's database to further customize the application. The grocery list includes quantity, unit, and price, and the tax rate can be changed to get an accurate total cost. Lists are automatically saved with the date of creation, and can be named for better organization. Though it's short on frills, any budget-conscious user will appreciate knowing what a grocery shopping excursion will cost.

Version 1.4 updated the application to use Framework 4.5 to support Windows 8 and 10. Updated installer that creates msi file compatible with Windows 8 and 10.

Easy to use and it offers a pre-loaded pricing for common foods. You can easily add/minus items for a unique store. You can add different grocery stores and add whatever foods you want and for what ever pricing and also it does pricing by unit. GREAT

Not much of any. If you are looking for something really pretty then this isn't for you. Also it doesn't have a recipie application as I was looking for.

Sales tax feature could be change to reflect whether the item added is a taxable item. As it is now, it calculates the tax on everything.

The only con is in the demo, you can only have a 50 item shopping list, full version lets you do unlimited.
Summary
This was pretty much what I was looking for to keep track of what prices are at the different stores I shop at. I knew in my head a few places are cheaper on a few items, but this lets me see it once I get the prices in. With also seeing the tax in the total, you have a better idea of how to budget. And now I have no excuse for going to the store with out a list and a plan. Great job on this one guys!

only problem I had was that I had to go to another server to download it,, but that is not the fault of the software, all in all,, its a good product and I can see that it would have many uses for not just the home but also organisations, cafe's schools and so on.
