This helpful database application comes with a wide variety of recipes and allows you to add your own, but it misses a few features found in similar applications.

Recipes Ship's non-resizable interface lacks spice but is easy enough to navigate. You can easily add your own recipes to the database or choose from the preloaded recipes, which include international dishes from Africa, Korea, Pakistan and other countries. You also can go to the publisher's Web site to download more recipes, though it's important to note that once you download a recipe you have to manually copy and paste it into the program. Unfortunately, you can't add images or resize recipes to fit on recipe cards. Some other important features it's missing are a search tool, meal planner and nutritional information for the recipes. Nonetheless, any cooking enthusiast looking to try new recipes will appreciate what this freeware has to offer.

Pros
Easy to enter recipes with cut and paste. A whole lot of categories

Has no search feature. Print always uses whole sheet of paper.

Pros
As good as any other recipe programs I've used; But (see Cons).
Cons
The biggest drawback to this progam is it's in-abillity to be re-sized. The program comes up the size of a postage stamp in the center of my screen, and can not be made bigger --- Very hard to read!
Summary
Good if you just want to keep track of family recipes but if, like me, you have a computer in the kitchen and use it to cook from then the small window makes it very difficult to see.

Easy to use and customise. Comes with HEAPS of recipes, but you can easily delete and easily add your own. No known conflict. No ads or other restrictions. Beats my current floured and faded recipe books. Just need the time to add all my recipes.
