For anyone who relies on a digital calendar to keep them on track, Google Calendar Sync is a must-have application. The free download isn't fancy or even pretty--a simple log-in and options list comprises the system tray icon. However, the meat of the application is what it can do, which is flawlessly add details of Outlook calendar items to Google's Calendar, and vice versa if you so choose. At any time, you can make it unidirectional in the options, and how often the tool updates is entirely up to you.

jrhl2012September 17, 2012
Pros
easy to use
Cons
-does not sync all events -Windows XP 64-bit Edition is not compatible with Google Calendar Sync at this time.
Summary
without multiple calendar sync it's pretty worthless.
igig42May 21, 2012
Pros
seems to work well for the primary calendar
Cons
Doesn't sync secondary calendars from google calendars, nor does it sync tasks.
Summary
Will be great once they add the ability to sync secondary calendars and tasks
great integration tool

Pros
great for syncing your calendar to many devices
Cons
wish there was more control over calendar selections. Support of multiple calendars would be good
Summary
Great tool as is, could use more options

Unreliable

Pros
When it works it serves a very valuable service for me.
Cons
Doesn't reliably sync. I arrived home and checked the laptop for an appointment I made on the road... no show.
Summary
I guess why bother if I have to remember to add the appointment to my Outlook anyway.
Works OK..... but for a while only :(

Pros
Great idea. Good when it works.
Cons
It does NOT do what it says on the tin.
Summary
- It works for a while (about 1-2months) and then it fails to replicate most new events and updates. - This is not a "once of", neither is it related to one machine or one account only. NOTE - I work in IT so I am very technical. I have done all troubleshooting I could ever think of for a few weeks, but I have still not been able to resolve it. If I (a strong technical person) can not get around it, then what about "Average Joe"? My conclusion up to now being through all my research is.... there are bugs in the solution and they have failed to address the issues.
Shoddy product

Pros
Easy to configure
Cons
Works sporadically
Summary
I've had this product work fine some of the time, then . . . not so fine other times. After syncing, some events from my Outlook calendar would not appear in my Google calendar. I've fiddled with settings, uninstalled/reinstalled, checked how appointments appear in my Outlook calendar and a variety of other things and no joy. There are tons of people having the same problem I am, and it seems to have been going on for a while -- like over a year -- and Google seems not to want to address it. If this product works for you, great, but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend it.
Will not sync with Microsoft Office 10.

Pros
It great if it works.
Cons
Cannot evaluate
Summary
Rock solid reliability!
greghazSeptember 19, 2009
Pros
Easy to use, perfectly reliable and non-buggy, which is why I now use this wirelessly with my iPhone instead of the very unreliable MobileMe service from Apple. Apple builds fabulous products but seems inept at internet applications.
Cons
The only improvement I can think of would be for Google to add contacts as well.
Summary
A rock solid solution for those needing real time wireless calendar sync capability.
Great Idea But......
docgregnAugust 18, 2009
Pros
Works most of the time,
Cons
If You have the New Pal Pre creats conflicts with the normal sync between the Pre and Google Calendar ..You must delete and re-instal again for another sync. Second Problem when you have more than one computer with Outlook, duplicates the data.
Summary
Try it,
