This program configures a PC IR remote to perform many mouse and keyboard functions, but its high learning curve will prove difficult for many users. The interface is primarily a system of pull-down menus and dialog boxes with numerous buttons and entry boxes that can overwhelm new users. The program does offer a wizard to help program your IR remote to control software. For those wishing to tinker with programming Girder's extensive introduction and help files are must-reads. Creating scripts is not for novices, but many functions are available as free plug-ins. The program was designed to operate with media software, but your IR remote can be set to operate home-automation software, projectors, and serial devices. Anyone with a PC remote will want to give this program a try, but novices may give up quickly if they have not first studied the how-to guide.

What a useless crap!

Hard to count any Pros.
Cons
1.) Backup of the whole configuration is difficult. It's spread in folders and registry. 2.) There are bugs for years wich have never been patched though discussed in forums often. Example: Sending IR commands works two or three times, then it stops sending signals.
Summary
I bought this crap, but i had enough of it after all the trouble with it. Take Eventghost. It is free an d it works. :-)

Summary
This program is pretty easy to figure out on your own, but what you can't work out on your own you can get help from the maker's forums. Doesn't lag my system at all and functions with most programs I use (WinAmp, Firefox, Explorer).
